What is included in the museum admission?

Do you offer an audio tour?
Audio tours are available for $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Tour available in English and Japanese.

A free docent tour is available weekdays, Tuesday – Friday at 1p, and meets at the exhibition entrance.

What are the delivery options for ticket purchases?

·      Print@Home – tickets can be accessed digitally by logging into your Tickets.com account and showing the barcode on your mobile device or physically printed by you at home.

·      Mail - sent to your address on file.

·      Will Call - picked up at the MAC Box Office.

Can I refund or exchange my ticket?
Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be exchanged up to 72 hours prior to date for a $5 exchange fee per ticket by contacting the Box Office: (630) 942-4000 or themac@cod.edu.

Why can’t I find the Anytime Ticket when purchasing tickets online?
Anytime Ticket is listed first. If it isn’t visible, Anytime Entry Tickets are sold out.

PLANNING YOUR VISIT

How long does it take to go through the exhibition?
Average visit is 1–1.5 hours.

What if I arrive before my ticketed entry time? What if I arrive late?
For timed tickets, please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early. Have your ticket ready to be scanned upon entry. If you arrive after your ticketed entrance time, staff will find the best way to accommodate your entry while considering the service and safety of other guests in the museum.

What items are allowed or prohibited inside the exhibition?
The following items will not be allowed: bags and purses larger than 13 x 17 x 4 inches, backpacks, shopping bags, strollers or car seat carriers, outside food and beverage, video cameras or professional cameras with detachable lenses, selfie sticks, long umbrellas, weapons, and wrapped packages.

College of DuPage allows service animals who are trained to support a person with disabilities.

Is the exhibition wheelchair accessible?
The exhibition is wheelchair accessible to all museum visitors. Wheelchair accessible parking is located directly in front of the McAninch Arts Center in parking lot Fawell A. Elevators in the McAninch Arts Center are located inside and to the right of the main entrance.

Will there be food and beverage on-site?
Lite fare, beverages and adult beverages are available on-site.

What ages is the exhibition appropriate for?
This exhibition is suitable for all ages. Children 3 and under do not require a ticket and must be carried in the Main Gallery. Soft-sided front-wearing carrier must wrap around the adult and must not be wrapped/strapped to the back. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult while at the exhibition. Hokusai Education Station is a family-friendly area but open to all visitors to enjoy.

Can I take pictures inside the exhibition?
Photography is allowed and encouraged! Flash photography and video is not allowed.

How do I get there?
Cleve Carney Museum of Art is located in the McAninch Arts Center (MAC) on the College of DuPage campus: 425 Fawell Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. This address applies to the entire campus. The MAC building is located on Fawell Blvd, at the east end of campus.

Rideshare users
For best results re: location accuracy, enter “Cleve Carney Museum of Art” or “McAninch Arts Center”. We do not recommend using the campus as it will not get you to the MAC building.

Is there parking on-site and how much does it cost?
Parking is free to all visitors. The most convenient lot is Fawell Parking Lot A on the Northeast corner of campus. A campus map is available here.

Can I get to the museum using public transportation?
The museum is accessible from the Metra’s Union Pacific West line with connecting service from PACE bus route 715.
